The Shadow

展示面具的街市

In the street displaying masks

我负重独行

I go alone with burden

有个丑陋的家伙

An ugly one

玩迷藏似的

Kisses my heels

踩着我的脚跟

As if he’s playing seek-and-hide

形容凄苦，忧郁

With a countenance sorrowful and sad

宛如匠人手下的盆景

Like a potted landscape out of a craftsman’s hand

我疑惑这烁烁虹灯

I doubt if it is these twinkling neon lights

是否刺痛了他的心

that pierce my soul sore

朋友，你也收藏一坟荒芜吗

Pal, you've also collected a grave of wildness?

他沉默

but silent is he

如同我未出声的询问

As my unuttered query

寒风忽然裹着惊悸浸染我的肌肤

The bone-biting air filled with fear, all of a sudden, infects my skin

我惶然四顾

Looking around in unquiet

匆匆的人们

I find that the people

如蚂蚁

like ants

正赶着各自的路

are Hastening on with their journeys respectively
