外贸函电：通知价格改订

修改价格意味着零售价格上涨，进口商应该藉此时机大量采购。出口商事先知会价格上涨的趋势，也算是一种促销手段。

Dear Sirs,

The continued increase in the cost of raw materials and the additional labor costs involved in the manufacture of our products have made it necessary to revise our present prices.

Our new price list is enclosed, and all orders posted after April 30 must be invoiced at the new rates. We very much regret that it has been necessary to make this increase, and we have done all in our power to avoid it by introducing economies in the manufacturing process without lowering standards and by buying raw materials in greater bulk than before.

These economies have enabled us to keep our increase below those of our competitors, who, of coures, have been faced with the same problems as ours.

随着本公司产品制造而不断增加的原料成本，及额外的劳工薪资，使得我方必须修改现行价格。

兹随函附寄本公司新价目表，所有4月30日之后邮寄的订单，须以新价格开列发票。我方对必须涨价一事深感抱歉，故已经尽全力，以不降低标准的情况下，在制造过程中引进经济的方法，并以购买较以前更大量原料的方法避免涨价。

藉由这些经济的作法，使得本公司较同业竞争者涨幅为低，当然，他们也面临和本公司同样的问题。
