how are you 怎么回答？
不同地区的回答不一样：
我见过很多外国人，当你问他how are you之后他一般都回到I am fine, thank you! 然后就狂笑，因为I am fine, thank you!这句话都成中国人的标志性回答了，问10个中国人有9个是这么回答，可能是因为新概念在中国人的四年里面太根深蒂固了吧。
很多人都把 I'm fine thank you and you 的回答来嘲笑国内的英语教育. 可是在英国很多本土英国人就是这样回答how are you的
但是国外很少有人问你How are you，一般都是How are you doing，澳洲还有How are you going，据我在澳洲生活的经验，当老外问How are u时，老外的回答是Good thank you。
美国人说 Good, I'm fine, I'm good, I'm doing good, I'm doing well, 再加 Thank you! 或者 and you?
我教你一种国外人比较常用而且简单的说法
How are you?
Good!(很好)
Not bad!(还可以)
Soso!（一般）
接着你可以问
How have you been lately?比较正式的说法
What have you done lately?不算正式也不算随便的说法
what's cooking?随便
或者what's the news?随便
具体你接下来要问什么要看你跟他的关系，和你所了解他的程度决定，不太好说。

1、心情一般时
1)Just fine. Thanks.
还好，谢谢。
2)All right，and you?
还行，你呢？
3)Can’t complain./ OK.

4)Same as ever./ Oh，the usual round.
老样子。
5)So-so，thanks.
不过如此，谢谢。
2、心情很好时
1)Pretty good，thank you.
非常好，谢谢。
2)Very well. How about you?
很好。你怎么样？
3) I’m extremely well，thank you.
我好极了，谢谢。
4). I’m very well indeed/Great! Fantastic! thank you.
我真非常好，谢谢。
3、情消极时
1).Pretty bad!
糟透了!
2）Awful!
糟透了!
如果回答bad,一般人家会问你what happened?
你就不得不回答一大堆，所以为了节省大家的时间，礼貌性的回答一下即可，别忘了说thank you!
其他各种各样的回答：
每次老外同事问我“how are you?”
我都会说“pretty good!”
我虽然忘记在哪里学来的了，但是老外每次听到我这么讲就会很开心，
后来他还解释说这个美国人常常讲的俚语，他在中国从来没听人这么讲过，建议你下次试试看，老外会有什么反应，哈哈～～一定比“fine thank you ,and you?”来的好！
或者还可以说“It couldn't be better.”
反过来问他们“how about you？”他们多半都会说“OK！”
听他们说How are you? 感觉并不是真在的问好不好似的，就好像只是想HELLO之类的打招呼的话，好像没有什么特殊的含义。
老美一般都 HOW R U DOING? 这样打招呼吧
HOW R U? 感觉都是关系很疏远的人这样打招呼
上次碰到久为谋面的老外，脑子第一反应弹出how r u，幸好强大的自控力，改口说成how r u doing， 老外i'm wonderful, 接着我说that's good, 一下子不知怎往下接了
一位在国内学英语特棒的高才出国留学，某日驾车坠入悬崖身负重伤，警察赶到，冲着悬崖底下喊：“How are you？”英语高才一听太简单了，立马答：“Fine，thank you！and you？”警察就走了……——转段子一枚
How are you going?比较不正式，跟朋友可以讲
但是跟我们同事一群老头子，特别是CEO，还是用How r u?来的妥当
有一次跟一个比较随和的老外说How are you doing ? 对方居然没反应过来- -|||
当然他也是非英语国家，可以原谅。

关系非常好的。我一般都说 I'm cool.
一般朋友。就是fine 或者I'm fine.
不那么近的关系，我一般都说 I'm OK !

我在澳大利亚- -从来没有听任何一个英语母语的人回答过"fine".
最多都是说"I'm good, thanks","good thanks" "not bad.thanks"
其实"how are you"说的也很少
很多时候都是说"how you doing" "whats up" "whats been happening" “how's it going"
之类的
pretty good"这个回答很不错。
